Leslie Kessler,
Senior Pastor
Brother Kessler is presently serving as the Pastor Emeritus of Northwest Crossing Baptist Church.
He grew up in Houston and is a graduate of the University of Houston and Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. Brother Les served three previous pastorates in California as well as working with two Baptist Associations as Stewardship Chairman and Association Moderator. He has also served on the Executive Board of the Southern Baptist Convention of California.
Brother Les was converted in 1933 at the age of 10, served in the army from 1942-1946 in the pacific, and was discharged honorably.
He married June, his sweetheart, on December 24, 1941, prior to shipping out in WWII. They have a son, Ronald David Kessler of Long beach, California. June went to be with the Lord in 2006.

Pastor of Hispanic Services
Brother Johnny is serving at Northwest Crossing as the associate pastor to Brother Kessler and also as the head pastor of Hispanic Services. God is using his experience to finally reach a rapidly growing demographic in the community that Northwest Crossing Baptist Church is serving. The doubled growth of the congregation here at Northwest Crossing is evidence that God is leading him well and he is following well. His enthusiasm for Christ and wonderful personality is immediately evident the first time you talk to him. Come and see him preach and teach!
